PINK EYE
Charlie has pink eye and he does not like the drops. So we have to get creative during drop time. The funny thing is every time we say blink, he nods his head up and down. It cracks us up!

Out of Town
Ok so today Gracie comes home from ballet and has a 99.1 fever. We were bummed but expected it. Then at the same time Charlie woke up from his nap and his right eye was very red and watery. So now we have one withthe flu, one uncertain and one with pink eye. GREAT! Bart and I looked at one another and said...."forget it! The germs are everywhere right! " So we all piled into the car and drove to Rockwall for dinner. It felt so good to be out as a family. It has been nine weeks. I know it was probably not the right thing to do, but if you could see us you would understand we needed this for our sanity.
On the way there Charlie saw a water tower and yelled.." Look a water mountain!"
On the way home we were blessed with Charlie and Gracie's singing of Walking in the light of love. What a sweet moment.

Millards Life
2009 has had an interesting start! We have a beautiful baby girl, I had a wonderful two day vacation with my hubby to Nashville to do some work and visit friends.. only to come home to Sam with a broken finger, then Charlie had another febrile seizure which led to RSV, then Sam had RSV which led to Sophie with RSV and then a seven day hospital stay. Then when we came home from that trauma Sam got the stomach bug (not good for a diabetic) and now we are dealing with the flu. WHEW! Needless to say the Millards are TIRED!
We are trusting that the Lord really will only give us what we can handle. The problem with that is I think he believes we can handle a lot. I just keep quoting Proverbs 3:5-6 in my head over and over. Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. I pray that after the flu, we would receive a break and just be able to enjoy one another. far....
